Obituary of Stephan E. LeMoine

Stephan LeMoine passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 24, 2020 . He was 83 years old. Stephan was born in Manhattan on August 21, 1937 to Virginia and Clifford LeMoine. He worked at Verizon until he retired in 1996. Steve served in the U.S. Marine Corps and met the love of his life, Sue. After his discharge they were married in St. Ann’s Church in Manhattan on June 7, 1958. Steve enjoyed traveling the globe with Sue, their usual Friday afternoon lunch at the Fish Market, their monthly trips to the Casino, but most of all enjoyed spending time at the dinner table with his Family. Steve will be missed by all. Steve is survived by his loving wife Susann, his 3 sons, Stephan (Mita), David (Dawn) and Christopher (Kathleen). He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Stephan (Angela), Matthew, Daniel, Alex, Nina, James and Katherine. Also his 2 great grandchildren Jack and Ryan, and by his sisters Judy and Barbara. Steve is predeceased by his brothers Teddy and Sonny. Please join us in celebrating Steve’s life on Monday September 28, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm and Tuesday September 29, 2020 3pm to 7pm at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N Central Highway Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday September 30, 2020, 11am, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville, NY followed by internment at St. Anthony’s Cemetary Nanuet NY. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that a donation be made in Steve’s name to St. Gregory Barbarigo Church 21 Cinder Rd Garnerville, NY 10923. Masks and social distancing required at the funeral home for visitation.
