Obituary of Matthew F. Overgard

Matthew F. Overgard, born on December 10th, 1956, in Rockland County, New York, passed away on April 22^nd, 2024 at the age of 67.

 

A long-time resident of Stony Point, New York, Matt was a beloved husband to Victoria (Vicki) Overgard, whom he married on July 22, 1995, at the picturesque Ice Pond Farm, surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his wife Vicki and son William (Will) Overgard.   In addition to being a loving husband, Matt was also a proud father to his son, William (Will) Overgard. He cherished his role as a father, and his love for Will knew no bounds.

 

He was predeceased by his father William Thomas Overgard Jr., mother Gloria N. Overgard, and brother William Thomas Overgard III.

 

Matt was a man of many passions, including the outdoors, aviation, animals, boating, race cars, and camping. He cherished the moments spent with friends and family, where he often shared his corny jokes and showcased his self-proclaimed master mixology skills. His charming and funny personality will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
